Trees: our life savers are dying

For centuries we’ve treated forests poorly. Yet we’re only just learning how crucial trees are to our survival

This is what I mean by ecological unconsciousness. It’s not just that we’re polluting the environment, it’s that we’re imagining the natural world like it’s a human world that obeys the laws of things like supply and demand or some shit. Our delusions are killing us.
